COVID 2020/21 Season
Dear Friends of Rajakkad
I hope you are keeping safe and well.
We have been blessed with very little infection in our hills and all of us are well, keeping busy on the farm and maintaining our wonderful palace house and gardens.
We are missing all our lovely guests and friends and hope we can help you to return when appropriate.
COVID has changed all our lives - our motto is “Be Careful - not Fearful”.
We have decided to open our doors again this season now that hotels in Tamil Nadu are allowed to open and careful travel and hospitality is going to be available.
We will be taking steps to protect our guests by doing regular deep cleaning and leaving rooms vacated for 24 hours between occupancies.
We would also like to encourage longer stays and also, family groups who might take the whole palace house in single occupancy, to limit the risks of infection.
We have therefore decided to hold our rates to the level of last year and offer 20% discount for individual stays of over 4 nights and/or 30% discount for single occupancy of the whole house - minimum stay 5 nights.
We have also changed our payment and cancellation terms to accommodate these uncertain times - please see the rates page on our web site.
It is a strange and different world - maybe this is going to be the new normal for a while. More reason to look for a special place to regroup and refresh our optimism.
